Plates with Images of Twelve Beauties in Stone Story or A Dream in Red Mansions 

《红楼梦》十二金钗艺术系列彩盘，是景德镇著名陶瓷美术家1981年5月应美国布莱德福特彩盘交换中心精心设计、绘制的。分别展示了曹雪芹笔下十二金钗那优美动人的艺术形象。

彩盘由景德镇宇宙瓷厂开发，运到美国后，深受欢迎，认为制作技艺精湛、生动地再现了不朽名著中的人物形象。用陶瓷艺术展现《红楼梦》，保持和发扬了瓷器的传统特色，对弘扬陶瓷文化有特殊意义，为世界诸多收藏家视为珍品。

The series of plates with images of twelve beauties in “A Dream in Red Mansions” was elaborately designed and painted by a group of distinguished ceramic artists in Jingdezhen in May, 1981 for the Bradford Color Disk Exchange Center in the United States. They show the gorgeous and moving artistic figures of the twelve beauties written by Cao Xueqin respectively. The plates were developed by Jingdezhen Yuzhou Porcelain Factory and shipped to the United States, which were so well received that foreigners considered the techniques were superb and vividly reproduced the characters in the classic masterpiece. The representation of “A Dream in Red Mansions” with ceramic art maintains and develops the traditional characteristics of porcelain, which is of special significance to the promotion of ceramic culture and regarded as treasures by numerous collectors around the world.
